The Shenzhen Biomedicine Innovations Industrial Park (Biomedical Enterprise Accelerator Phase 1), located in the State Biological Industrial Base in Kengzi Subdistrict, is a grand biotechnology industrial park for high-growth small and medium-sized enterprises. Covering more than 120,000 square meters, the park can provide a total industrial space of 293,000 square meters. The first two phases of the park have been put into use and Phase 3 is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

The park focuses on medical devices, biomedicine and healthcare. It has gathered more than 100 biomedicine companies and has technological advantages in the fields of in vitro diagnostic reagents, intelligent medical device R&D, high-end interventional consumables, and cell therapy. It is becoming an innovative hub for the biomedicine development in Shenzhen and plays an important role in leading scientific and technological innovation and industrial clustering.

With various service organizations and platforms in the park, such as Guangdong Medical Device Quality Surveillance and Testing Institute, and Delta Company, the park provides services such as inspection and testing, registration and declaration of clinical trials, and instrument and equipment sharing for businesses. In biomedicine, multiple platforms have been gathered to provide services including drug screening, synthesis, R&D, production, preclinical testing, clinical trial application and drug safety evaluation for enterprises. At the end of 2021, the Greater Bay Area International Vaccine Innovation Center, covering an area of more than 3,000 square meters, was put into operation in the park. It is China’s first international vaccine innovation center.

The park is located on Jinxiu East Road and near Shatian Station on Shenzhen Metro Line 14.
